Annoyed at how stacks, the one non-eye candy enhancement to the OS/X dock, is completely useless because it covers the stack icon with whatever is inside the stack? Me too. You might find this little hack handy. If you don’t read Japanese, this might be easier to read though. Beautiful set of icons, too—and definitely one place where OS/X’s graphics engine can be functionally beneficial (the tricks with transparency really make it work).
