Wouldn’t it be fun if we lived in a society where you could make up a new religion around, say, a great Spaghetti Monster that created the earth and us? And found a real church on the concept? And write a gospel about it, and maybe even raise a couple hundred thousand dollars so you could buy a pirate ship so you could sail around the world doing Spaghetti Monster missionary work? It’s too far fetched you say?
