And now, iTunes 5.0 comes with the new “Polished Metal” look (and for some reason has a peculiar window shape that no longer sports Apple’s classic curved edges). Yet another example of the lack of consistency and, I fear, the continued slide toward mediocrity. Someone please prove me wrong.

Speaking of Mail, I just discovered this handy little plug-in that allows Apple Mail to set priorities and ask for return receipts. I still can’t figure out why Apple continues to leave this feature out. Not that I use it that terribly often, but every now and then it would be nice to have.
