It’s not free
It’s not free. The package says “free with purchase.” Isn’t that the same as saying “not free?” I really hate solicitation calls at home — they are disruptive, annoying and never have anything to offer that I could possibly want. Do people actually buy these things? “We would like to offer you a round-trip vacation to Disney World, completely free!” says the voice. Shortly thereafter the truth is revealed — a $99 “processing fee” is required to complete an “application.” “But then it’s not free, it costs me $99, doesn’t it?” But the voice assures me I’m wrong, “Oh no, the vacation is absolutely free, but there is a fee for processing your application.” I guess there’s no reasoning with idiots.
